Since the entire product life cycle is accompanied by low temperature so packaging of these products should meet such criteria as: mechanical strength, resistance to cracking under the influence of cold, tightness. Also the material should have the barrier properties. Most frozen foods have sharp edges, so great attention is paid to puncture resistance as an important packaging property.
